Inspired by Cardiff's rich coal mining history, R.P Culley & Co champions local produce and regional delicacies. Head chef Keith Clash pays homage to his home nation throughout the all-day eatery's various menus, serving up everything from bottomless brunches to seasonal al la carte lunches and dinners, alongside a choice of afternoon teas. Dishes include Cefn Mawr beef burger with streaky bacon and teifi rarebit, a Welsh cheese board with port soaked grapes and biscuits, Cwm Farm ice creams and sorbets and Culley's fish and chips.
Taking its name from local philanthropist, entrepreneur and previous holder of the catering contract for The Exchange Restaurant, Richard Palethorpe Culley, R. P Culley & Co boasts a wide drinks menu so guests can wine and dine as he did with the money men of his time. The restaurant's own range of wine and craft beer will be available, alongside a cocktail menu that's designed as a timeline of mixed drinks through the ages, all garnished with seasonal twists and regional products.
