Manahatta Temple Street

2-4-1 Cocktails 🍸 and 4 other offers

  • Location: 10 Temple Street, BS 5BN
  • Price: £7.50 per person, per hour
  • Why we recommend: we love Manahatta's karaoke because it gets the balance just right, and the private rooms mean you can fully commit to the performance (bad notes and all)

Tucked away on Temple Street in the heart of Birmingham's nightlife scene, Manahatta brings its signature New York glamour to karaoke, complete with neon lighting, slick interiors and cocktails that feel just as theatrical as your song choice.

The private karaoke rooms feel more like your own backstage lounge than a booth, giving you space to belt out power ballads, throw it back with 00s pop, or attempt a dramatic duet without an audience of strangers.

Luna Springs

  • Location: Lower Trinity Street, Deritend, B9 4AG
  • Price: from £31.90 per person
  • Why we recommend: with tickets to this event, you can let your hair down with your mates and belt out the best 80s, 90s and 00s hits together

On the hunt for places to channel your inner Mariah? Warm up your vocals and head to Digbeth den, Luna Springs. The venue has a tantalising lineup of events, complete with free-flowing cocktails and non-stop tunes. Our favourite? It's Brunchoake Bottomless Brunch

Tickets start from £31.90 per person and include 90 minutes of unlimited bubbles, beer, and cocktail jugs alongside one brunch dish each, such as buffalo chicken strips served with crunchy fries.

Reflex Birmingham Broad Street

  • Location: 36-37 Broad Street, B1 2DY
  • Price: available on request
  • Why we recommend: we think that this spot is an obvious pick for those who want to throw a party that's all about throw-back hits, and you can head down on the weekends for its 'big sessions'

Hire one of Reflex's karaoke booths and sing your heart out to nostalgic songs and contemporary hits. The 80s-themed retro party bar on Broad Street is perfect for groups of friends, stags or hens to let their hair down, so pass the mic.

If you're more moves than melodies, step out onto the revolving dancefloor.

Box Brindleyplace

  • Location: 1-2 The Waters Edge, Brindley Place, B1 2HL
  • Price: private hire from £45 per hour
  • Why we recommend: we love that Box Brindleyplace's live band karaoke nights make you feel like you're a rockstar, and the rooms are a great shout for private parties

Though it may be best known as a sports bar, Box in Brindleyplace is also a top choice as one of the best karaoke bars Birmingham has to offer. Not only do they have a private room for belting your heart out in with your pals, but they also host a Bandeoke sing-along event every Thursday, complete with a live band.

There are shuffleboard tables and countless TV screens for added entertainment, with a drinks menu that includes craft beer, hard seltzers and two-for-one cocktails from Sunday to Wednesday. Hungry? You can also nab everything from loaded fries to 16-inch pizzas here.

Boom Battle Bar Birmingham

  • Location: Unit 7, Five Ways, Broad Street, B15 1DA
  • Price: £6 to £9 per person for 55 minutes
  • Why we recommend: we think that this is the ideal spot for a party, and you can make it a bundle by booking a 55-minute game, two drinks per person, and two Boom Bites or a burger each for £27.50 per person

We'd be silly not to mention Boom Battle Bar for karaoke bars in Birmingham city centre. Located on Broad Street, the venue also has a slew of activities such as pool and reality axe-throwing, and it's also a supreme spot for a singalong and a quirky cocktail.

Here, you'll have access to over 10,000 hits, from Oasis to Adele, and you can book space for up to twelve of your mates. However, in peak hours, there's a minimum booking for £36, so make sure you've got the band together in time.

Ming Moon Buffet & Karaoke

  • Location: 16 Hurst Street, B5 4BN
  • Price: from £35 per hour if the minimum spend isn't met
  • Why we recommend: you can come for the food and leave having accidentally stayed all night singing power ballads in a themed room, and that's kind of the magic

Karaoke? Birmingham's Ming Moon takes things well beyond a simple song. Tucked away beneath the restaurant, the private karaoke rooms offer themed spaces that feel playful. Whether you're stepping into the retro-futuristic Steampunk room or embracing the colour and drama of the Bollywood suite, each space feels like its own mini escape from the city above.

The rooms are purpose-built for parties, with high-quality sound systems, large screens, thousands of songs to choose from and enough space to properly perform, or spectacularly fail, in front of friends. With no room hire fee (just a minimum spend), it's an easy add-on to a dinner booking or a destination in its own right for late-night celebrations (it's open until 2am on Fridays and Saturdays).

Karaoke Box Birmingham

  • Location: Regency Wharf, B1 2DS
  • Price: varies from £35 an hour for groups of up to five people
  • Why we recommend: there's a healthy range of songs to get excited about here, including throwback hits. Plus, keep an eye out for their monthly deals, where you can sometimes bag as much as 50% off karaoke

Decked out with ten individual booths and a bar and kitchen serving snacks for would-be Whitneys to enjoy, Karaoke Box in Birmingham is committed to offering you a carefree night of singing.

With themed rooms and a large space, it's sure to be a crowd-pleaser on nights out. You can lookforward to cocktails from £11.50 each, including espresso martinis, as well as pizzas to fuel your performances. It's open seven days a week, and offers some brilliant hen, stag, kids' party and cocktail masterclass packages too.

Missing

  • Location: 48 Bromsgrove Street, B5 6NU
  • Price: free entry
  • Why we recommend: Dahliah Rivers knows how to put on one hell of a show, and you'll find every Tuesday to be full of complete joy, brilliant looks, and iconic sing-alongs

Missing, in Birmingham's Gay Village, serves up a weekly, music-themed treat every Tuesday from 9pm. The night draws in crowds from across the city and offers a fun-loving way to let loose. Expect amazing vocals, belly-aching laughter and a spectacular performance from Dahliah Rivers.

What's more, you can also hire out the venue's party space, Studio 48, for your next event. It comes with an impeccable sound system that thrives on karaoke parties.

Lane7 Birmingham

  • Location: Level 6, Wharfside Street, B1 1RN
  • Price: £7 per person for 55 minutes
  • Why we recommend: Lane 7 is the perfect karaoke night in the heart of the city - you can turn it into a whole event with add-ons like darts and beer pong

If you can't settle on one activity for the night? At Lane7, there's a little something for everyone. Along with the best private karaoke rooms in Birmingham, the graffiti-covered venue features bowling, shuffleboard, beer pong, and let's not forget their retro arcades.

Unlimited playtime starts from £18 per person, and hiring a booth begins at £7 for 55 minutes. You'll find a great selection of hits here, from pop anthems to rock classics.

The Victoria

Happy Hour

  • Location: 48 John Bright Street, B1 1BN
  • Price: £50 per hour for private hire
  • Why we recommend: the location alone makes it a winner (you can step straight off the train and into your first song), but it's the relaxed pub atmosphere that really sells it

The Victoria's dedicated karaoke bar offers a private space where you and your group can fully commit to the performance without worrying about an audience of strangers. Powered by Lucky Voice Karaoke, the setup gives you access to hundreds of thousands of songs, meaning no genre, era or guilty pleasure is off-limits.

The room is available to hire by the hour, making it ideal for birthdays, leaving dos, pre-drinks that escalate quickly, or simply an excuse to sing your heart out in the middle of the city.
