Every Tuesday at Player Bar on Broad Street, drinks prices plummet and the average age of the club drops dramatically, as Birmingham's many students descend on the lively venue for Stupid Tuesday. Perfect for everyone on a budget, shots and beer face an absurd cut in cost. With a line-up of great DJs playing all your favourite RnB, Hip Hop and chart songs, you're sure to remember a night at this dazzling student bar.

Walkabout Birmingham

Your favourite Aussie bar Walkabout isn't about to let students go out without cheap drinks. They've got several nights for you, ranging from Wednesday Karaoke to Twosday, where there's two pound drink offers, two floors of partying and lots of free goodies all on a Tuesday. But you can also end your week there, with £2 on selected drinks and music till the early hours of the morning on a Friday.

If you want to party every day of the week, Birmingham has got your back, as even Monday nights aren't safe from Missing Bar. While not strictly a student night, this party-heavy gay bar has Ministry of Pound at the start of the week, where not only do they bring the tunes till the early hours of the morning, but drinks are a pound.
