There’s some exciting news for fans of Jöro. Chef director Luke French and his wife, managing director Stacey Sherwood-French have launched an all-new boutique hotel and chef’s table concept at the award-winning Kelham Island restaurant.

House of JÖRO is offering the ultimate foodie staycation, with four intimate bedrooms that channel Nordic and Japanese vibes. Book a stay here and you’ll get to create a bespoke package (made for groups of up to eight) including dinner from French himself and some high-profile guests who are yet to be revealed…

Found a stone’s throw from the original restaurant, House of JÖRO comes decked-out in stylish earth tones, with comfortable bedding and calming standing baths to help you fully unwind during your stay. Every morning, continental breakfast hampers will be delivered to your room, you’ll have access to a communal lounge and kitchen, plus you’ll be able to book exclusive dining experiences. These can include a five-course tasting lunch or an eight-course dinner with an optional wine flight available for both. The menu itself is made up of small plates that utilise seasonal British ingredients, with dishes including chalk stream trout tartelette, beef tartare with smoked heart and barbecued pigs’ neck with Thai spices; perfect for filling your stomach before a luxurious nights sleep.
