Summer is here, so the residents of our rainy city are (hopefully) packing up their coats and getting out in the sunshine. So you don’t get serious FOMO this year, we’ve compiled a detailed list of the top live performances, beer festivals and cocktail experiences around; here are the best Manchester events in July 2026.




Kitty Yoga Manchester

This month, head to Kitty Yoga for a relaxing weekend outing. Taking place in the Deansgate area, this unique event combines slow vinyasa yoga with feline fun. You'll get involved in a forty minute class, followed by twenty minutes of relaxing with the kittens.

The Big Manchester Bake

A fun, competitive event that takes place in Salford, The Big Manchester Bake is a must this July. Head to their dedicated baking marquee in pairs, where you'll compete against other teams to be crowned the very best bakers.

There's a new theme every month, and all the ingredients and tools you need will be provided. You've got 90 minutes to whip up your masterpiece, and each team has got their very own cooking station within the tent.

Taste + Liquor

Old Skool Bingo - Manchester

Freight Island

Looking for a fun place to party this summer? Then head to Freight Island, where they host free live music events, outdoor parties and DJ sets, complete with talented performers and a vibrant atmosphere.

There are seven bars on-site, as well as 11 different street food vendors. Across their indoor and outdoor spaces, tuck into the likes of gyros, arepas and juicy burgers.

Food Escapes

Food Escapes offers a quirky way to explore Manchester, with plenty of delicious food along the way. Taking place across the city, these puzzle-based adventures challenge you to solve clues delivered via WhatsApp, leading you to three independent restaurants.

Each quest has its own theme, including tacos, dumplings and brunch favourites. Tickets start at £48.60 and include all your food, with the clock stopping at every venue to allow you to fully enjoy the treats.
