We start right at the top of Deansgate on Blackfriars street. This Los Angeles loving lot have created a venue that pays tribute to the quintessential American bar, with a Mancunian twist. If you appreciate the finer things in life, or know someone that does, this is the perfect place to start. An astonishing range of spirits liqueurs from across the globe are on offer; kick off the night with straight up shots or enjoy one of their many, many cocktails.
Get back onto Deansgate and turn left at the bridge, you simply can't "do" Deansgate without a visit to its infamous Locks. This exquisite bar and lounge has an exclusive yet inviting atmosphere. A friendly hub of people ready for an all night party in the lap of luxury, sip beautifully crafted cocktails or nab a sharer for just £15! The classics caught our attention; flavour your own Mojito or choose from the likes of White Russian, The Godfather, Daiquiris and Long Island Ice Tea.
The last stop on the Locks has got to be Baa Bar. If you find yourself scrambling for change at the bottom of your bag, fear not, because the shots, shooters and bombs here offer affordability for everyone. Party 'til the early hours with cheesy tunes and chart music, order the brightest and most bizarre looking drinks you can find, and end the night on a fun filled high.
Seconds away you'll find the perfect Tiki treat as we near the end of our bar crawl, Lola Lo's goes all out to impress fun loving crowds. With exciting props, amazing interior and unique cocktail glasses you'll be tempted to take home (please, don't, by the way), this is the ultimate guilty pleasure bar of Manchester. Shake a tail feather to the party tunes of the evening and indulge in luscious lashings of rum, vodka and other concoctions, drenched in fruit juice.
A quick trip down Deansgate, turn onto Peter street and we've got another themed treat in store for you! Moving away from vodka, Revolution have picked up a bottle of rum and opened a bar even more spectacular than their previous endeavors. One of the busiest and best parties in Deansgate, Revs De Cuba throws a raucous evening of debauchery. Inspired by "the original party island", you're not so cordially invited to sample rums from around the world and delicious cocktails to boot.
A firm favourite on the Deansgate scene comes in the form of the trusted Slug. Earlybirds can get started with breaky from 10am, laid-back lunchers can enjoy something tasty in a relaxed environment and the after-work crowd come to let their hair down come 5pm. There’s always outrageous deals to take advantage of (did someone say 2-4-1 cocktails every day?) and plenty of tasty food to keep you topped up.
Seconds away around the corner on Bridge street, we arrive at Mojo! Crafty and creative, the guys here have compiled a list of inventive and classic cocktails to ensure your night is full of flavour. This Rock 'n Roll hotspot is a refreshing break from the majority of mainstream bars in Manchester; so rally the troops, pick a drink from £5.50 or fill up a punch bowl for £35, sit back and enjoy your favourite classic songs in a laid back party venue.
