Dukes 92

Situated right next to the canal, Dukes 92 is a must when it comes to summertime boozing. Vie for a space in their beer garden, or, if it's a bit nippier, then the restaurant's floor-to-ceiling windows also has great views.

Cross the canal on a little bridge to find this utterly adorable drinking spot in Castlefield. A large space has been divided into lots of rooms, with plenty of nooks and crannies to curl up in and watch the world float by on the canal, and come summer, the beer garden is perfect for a pint.

Roof Garden Playground

Sophisticated sips need sexy views and Roof Garden Playground at Great John Street Hotel is bringing both to the table. So called as it was once the playground for a school, this space is perfect for watching the sun set over the city.

Private members' club Brass can afford to be exclusive when the views are this beautiful. Located atop Hotel Gotham, this rooftop spot looks out over some of Manchester's most beautiful buildings, or, if that's not an option, Honey Restaurant is open to the public and has equally as gorgeous scenes.
