Atlas Bar is an iconic Manchester venue that sits just opposite the bars of Deansgate Locks. Since its heyday it’s been renovated and refurbished, and now carries a different message to the people of Manchester. The interior is sleek and modern with wooden panelling taking over the aesthetic of the bar. The superb beer garden stretches out behind the bar and is home to exotic plants and stylish shrubbery more akin to a Dubai destination bar that a Deansgate gin haven. Perfect in the summer for some al fresco drinking, Atlas has an amazing feature in its outdoor seating area which is easily one of the best beer gardens in Manchester.

The bar has morphed over time and now focuses on its staggering range of gin; the list, totalling over 60 in all, makes Atlas one of the best places to enjoy a gin and tonic or a gin cocktail in Manchester. Never fear though; the beer, cider and wine are also well stocked and well chosen, just in case gin isn’t your thing.

Atlas Bar is a great Deansgate Locks gem and wows visitors with its stylish and laidback style alongside its cornucopia of gins. If you’re after a casual drink by day or something a little more upbeat by night, then Atlas could be the answer to your prayers.
