Blending food and drink with a sprinkling of art, The Cutting Room is an all-new creative bar, restaurant and gallery space in Fitzrovia.

The restaurant's menu will focus on organic, sustainable small plates with a conscious approach to sourcing ingredients. The menu, rather fittingly, includes some pretty artsy dishes such as the exotic meatballs of zebra, ostrich and kangaroo, alongside Wagyu beef sliders with shiitake mushrooms and onion confit, and grilled octopus with black bean and pear glaze.

The kookiness doesn’t stop there though, as the bar serves up prescription cocktails in vintage medicine bottles to cure your ailments alongside classics, house creations, shots, beer and an ample wine menu. The bar will also operate a minimal-waste policy with no bottled mineral water and spirits bought in reusable plastic bags to top-up bottles.

Of course, this is all housed in a fully-functioning art gallery so you're surrounded by The Woolf Gallery's revolving selection of art, making it a perfect date location (you have something to look at if you’re on an incredibly awkward Tinder date). There’s also late-night DJ sets Thursday to Saturday until 1am for those looking to shake their tail feathers after a long day at work.
