Beer Banquet series is back for 2018 and we've paired with Meantime Brewing
5 dishes & 6 perfectly paired beers served up family style. Easy.
Join us & 3 of the guys from Meantime on the 24th January for an evening filled with pub classics & comfort treats with the beers you love from Meantime including a one from their Pilot Series that has already ran out!
Your evening will start with a chat from one of the brewery's reps Jamie, Dominic & Big Al they'll give you all the information you need about the brewery.
Throughout the even you will try new beers and learn about what food it can be paired with,. Our head chef Roldan has spent hours researching to make sure your each dish is perfectly paired. As each dish is brought out our he will be here to explain more about the food & where it came from. You will be presented with a beer, or in the case of the final dish 2 beers, for you to learn about why they work well together and what hops and malts bring out certain flavours in the food.
The menu for the evening:
- Midsummer Pils with some form of deep fried cheese with a burnt orange vinaigrette & micro greens
- Pale ale with fish & a pickled cucumber salad & an Asian inspired dressing. Veggie option TBC
- Yakima Red with BBQ pork belly shoulder smoked in hops & slaw on the side.
- London IPA paired with lamb in a curry sauce.
- Chocolate porter & Raspberry Wheat paired with a chocolate porter fondant with a white chocolate & raspberry wheat centre.
