SARA PASCOE

Sara Pascoe is one of the biggest starts in British stand-up right now. A regular on Live At The Apollo, QI, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Mock The Week among others, her calling card is her perfectly wrought mixture of a rigorously academic mind unafraid to cover any topic and a sense of humour that is childishly naive and razor sharp.  A best-selling author thanks to her book 'Animal', Sara's appeal is vastly wide-ranging and growing every day.  If you want to have your mind expanded whilst laughing like a merry idiot, Sara is the comic for you.

"Always intelligent and occasionally exquisite." The Independent

"Pascoe uses erudite references as just one strand of an offbeat worldview, offset by moments of gloriously deliberate dumbness and delivered with nothing less than full-megawatt charisma." The Guardian

"Defiantly idiosyncratic and highly accessible." Evening Standard

JOE SUTHERLAND

Baby-faced comedian with the voice of an angel on 40 B&H a day.

With a caustic, catty wit and unapologetic confidence, he has taken the UK comedy circuit by the balls, and the circuit liked it. Selected for the Pleasance Comedy Reserve at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2015 and a finalist in the prestigious NATYs awards and Leicester Square Theatre New Comedian, Joe now performs at the biggest and best clubs in the country.

"Takes to the stage like an old pro, oozing star power from every pore. He combines borderline offensive self-confidence and biting punchlines with an openness that leaves the audience totally tamed." The Mirror

"Demands attention... He exudes a star quality, and on his own terms... Definitely one to watch." Chortle

GABRIEL EBULUE

Hailing from Peckham, South East London, Gabriel has been regaling audiences with tales of his life in his trademark laid back style on the London comedy circuit since 2009. In his first year of comedy he won the Comedy Store’s King Gong (and again in 2013) along with final and semi-final placements in many prestigious comedy competitions, including So You Think Your Funny? Up The Creek’s One to Watch Competition and the Chortle Student Comedy Awards.  Since then he has gone on to create the hit 'Three Track Podcast' on which he has drilled down deep into the musical obsessions of the likes of big music and comedy stars like Reggie Watts, Josie Long, Tom Ravenscroft and James Acaster.

“Ebulue refreshingly steers away from clichéd routines and stereotypes.” Beyond The Joke

JANINE HAROUNI

Janine is quickly making a name for herself as one of the fastest rising newcomers on the UK circuit. Her debut stand up hour Stand Up With Janine Harouni (Please Remain Seated) is hotly tipped to be one of the big hits of the Edinburgh Fringe, which is no surprise considering she won the Laughing Horse New Act of the Year competition in 2019 and has also won awards with her madcap sketch outfit Muriel.  Prepare to meet your new favourite comedian!

“An extremely entertaining slick, American comic. Whether by instinct or craft she knows how to fill the room with laughs.” Beyond the Joke

“Great performance chops, but most impressive is her industrious joke rate, covering a lot of ground with a sharp, original and sometimes waspish punchline at every turn.” Chortle

“Capable of huge acts of slapstick and subtle impressions in equal measure.” The Skinny

AND YOUR RESIDENT HOST:

BEN VAN DER VELDE

Freshly returned from the Edinburgh Festival, Ben is ready to take the helm at Good Ship once more and steer it through the vast ocean of comedy we have on offer.  One of the quickest wits around and a much-loved compere, he always brings a jam-packed back of nonsense, silliness and wisecracks to every gig he hosts.

"Sharp and crafty gagsmith, a life-giving compere." Chortle

"Wonderfully improvised riffs showcasing his impressive spontaneity and sharp tongue." Edinburgh Festivals Magazine

“The perfect comedy club host – he is a master of audience interaction. The audience weren’t just warmed up, but pretty hysterical even before the first act of the night hit the stage.”  Huffington Post
