The Colonel Fawcett is a traditional British pub situated on Randolph Street in Camden. The venue boasts two large outdoor areas, a function room and a lounge bar / dining area, all of which are available for hire on request. The venue can cater for anything from couples to small groups, and anything up to large parties. A mecca for gin lovers – The Colonel Fawcett houses an impressive 100-strong variety of local and rare world-gins. The Colonel Fawcett’s food offering is based on using seasonal British ingredients in a fresh and exciting manner. The chefs have composed a menu that aims to provide traditional, seasonal home cooked dishes with a modern touch. The majority of the meats are rare breed and sourced from family run farms from the head chef’s home county of Herefordshire.

Wonderful vegetarian Sunday roasts and available as a vegan option too. On the main menu dishes the poached salmon was delicious, perfectly cooked and very light. A real surprise that a healthy poached fish dish with lentils and spinach could be so tasty. Service was excellent and I'll definitely visit again. visited The Colonel Fawcett on 09 Oct 2016

We had a Bottomless Brunch booked for a birthday. Luckily they didn't start the 2 hour allocated slot until the entire table had arrived, and were very accommodating until then. The food was great, the service, and the atmosphere were wonderful. Would definitely recommend.

I held my 30th birthday at Colonel Fawcett in July 2016 (weekend just gone). We hired the upstairs room which is really big and airey. It was amazing. I loved the venue and exceeded all my expectations. The staff were very attentive and polite and friendly and accommodated all our needs. We ordered some food as well which was of a really high quality and the chef even created a vegetarian menu for us. The room had air con which was perfect for a summers day. Everyone commented on what a great place it was. We had use of the speakers so just plugged in our laptop and played all our own music and we even had a slideshow of photos using the projector. Perfect :)

Really terrible exerience. The manager fell out with one of my friends after sitting on a table together. Then proceeded to ban us all. Really neurotic. Genuinely awful pub full stop. Quite pricey too.
