ERIC LAMPAERT

Eric Lampaert is a standup comedian, writer and actor that has appeared on BBC2, BBC3, Ch4, Ch5, E4, ITV2, HBO and Comedy Central. He has performed stand up around the world including the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival 2014 in Montreal, the Johannesburg Comedy Festival in 2017, several solo shows at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival and supporting Eddie Izzard (in English and French.)

Eric is slowly but surely making a name for himself in TV in both the UK and France. His appearances include Life’s Too Short (HBO), The Midnight Beast (E4), Impractical Jokers (BBC3) host of How To Survive A Disaster Movie (Channel 5) and even starring alongside Bruce Willis in a TV commercial! Meanwhile he has more recently co-starred in motion picture Moonwalkers, alongside Rupert Grint and Ron Perlman, had a lead role in AmStarDam (Stoner Express) which was nominated as Best UK feature film at Raindance Festival & at the National Film Awards and had a substantial role in Luc Besson’s mad futuristic mess Valerian & The City of a Thousand Planets.

If you like the thought of a Tim Burton stop-motion puppet doing a duel impersonation of Vic Reeves, Noel Fielding and Spike Milligan, then you'll love Eric.

"Delightfully weird." **** Time Out

"Likeable, sweeping the audience in the sheer energy of his performance. The strength of his scatty character rips through the room like a mini-hurricane." **** Chortle

"Quirky, with an eye for the absurd and a couple of near-Izzardian flourishes." The Stage

ROBYN PERKINS

Since 2011, American comedian Robyn Perkins has been combining her scientific background with her ridiculous life stories. Her "exceptionally charismatic" (Voice Magazine) style has also allowed her to delve into more sensitive topics, whilst her background in biology influences her ‘unfiltered’ comedy, combining science and real life stories.

She regularly hosts various clubs across London including Angel Comedy, Top Secret Comedy Club and Laugh Train Home.

“Sharp, insightful, touching, but above all really, really funny.” Three Weeks

JOHN ASHMORE

John is an incredibly new stand-up who we watched win the infamous King Gong show at the Comedy Store.  His modest appearance belies a formidable comedy brain that can turn all sorts from growing up as a Quaker to verging on blindness and the finer points of the McDonald's menu into finely minted comedy routines.

VICTOR PASTRACAN

Romanian comedian based in London. I have recently won the 'King Gong' at the Comedy Store London and Manchester, 'The Blackout' at Up the Creek in London and 'Beat the Frog' at Frog and Bucket in Manchester. I am also the co-founder of the Eastern European Comedy Festival and Roast Battle UK.

A sense of dark mischief with a winning attitude.” Chortle

DYLAN GOTT

Dylan Gott is yet another in an apparently never-ending line of finely honed Canadian comics making their way in the UK. He has had his own one man show at the Toronto Fringe Festival, performed stand up comedy at the North by Northeast Music Festival, JFL42,

BITE TV, hosted his show The Sport Brahs on XM Radio and was nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award.

“Delightfully bizarre.” AV Club

AND YOUR RESIDENT HOST:

BEN VAN DER VELDE

Standing a statuesque five foot five inches high (not in heels) and weighing in at eleven stone (on a good day) Ben is the current light-middleweight contender for compering champion of North London.

"Sharp and crafty gagsmith, a life-giving compere." Chortle

"Wonderfully improvised riffs showcasing his impressive spontaneity and sharp tongue." Edinburgh Festivals Magazine

“The perfect comedy club host – he is a master of audience interaction. The audience weren’t just warmed up, but pretty hysterical even before the first act of the night hit the stage.”  Huffington Post
