OLGA KOCH

Having lived in Russia, Germany, the US and the UK Olga has the unique ability to speak confidently and hilariously on current affairs both global and personal. She has trained at the UCB Theatre in New York, The Soho Theatre Young Company and The Free Association Improv program and holds a degree in computer science from New York University, which often inspires her work.

In 2018, she was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards for her debut hour, Fight, which premiered at The Pleasance Courtyard and was described as "a hybrid of a John le Carre novel and an episode of Black Mirror" by The Evening Standard. In 2019, she embarked on a sell out tour of Fight and recorded the show as a Special for BBC Radio 4.

Olga has also appeared on QI, Mock The Week, The Now Show, The Blame Game, BBC Arts Hour, Pls Like and King Gary.

“Koch is a peppy performer and gets a lot of laughs from a full house as she fires off joke after joke.” The List

“A performer who wears her politics so lightly, so hilariously, and so devastatingly on her sleeve.” Fest

HAL CRUTTENDEN

Hal is easily one of the finest heavyweight acts on the British circuit right now, his blend of impotent fury at the world and pricking of his own pomposity making him a real favourite. He is the conscience of well-meaning liberal middle-class Britain, who desperately wants to make the world a better place, but only after he's had a crisp Chablis. His huge skills has taken him all around the globe entertaining crowds as far afield as Indonesia, Singapore and the Falkland Islands. Back at home he has been nominated for Best Club Comic multiple times, appeared in the film classics such as 'Mrs.Dalloway' and 'The Madness of King George' and smashed the living daylights out of his appearances on Live at the Apollo, Have I Got News For You and Sunday Night at the Palladium.

"An absolute joy to watch." The Scotsman

"Hugely talented." The Times

RUNI TALWAR

A regular at the Sydney Comedy Store, Runi has made his way to the UK just in time for the entire circuit to be shut down thanks to this pesky virus! We're delighted to welcome him to our gaff so you can enjoy his cheeky, irreverent, punchy stand-up that has already made him a big hit across the UK circuit and already has him as a regular writer for Have I Got News For You.

KATHARYN HENSON

Before heading over the Atlantic, Katharyn made all of New York City laugh on a nightly basis both hosting and performing. She worked clubs including but not limited to New York Comedy Club, Gotham Comedy Club, Broadway Comedy Club, Greenwich Village Comedy Club, The Grisly Pear Comedy Club and The Comic Strip and has hosted shows in the New York Comedy Festival for three years running. Katharyn is also happy to perform comedy for two people in a McDonald’s at midnight if they will have her. Her writing is tight, punchy and darker than Satan’s cat down a coal mine during a blackout.

AND YOUR RESIDENT HOST:

BEN VAN DER VELDE

One of the quickest wits around and a much-loved compere, he always brings a jam-packed back of nonsense, silliness and wisecracks to every gig he hosts.

"Wonderfully improvised riffs showcasing his impressive spontaneity and sharp tongue." Edinburgh Festivals Magazine

“The perfect comedy club host – he is a master of audience interaction. The audience weren’t just warmed up, but pretty hysterical even before the first act of the night hit the stage.”  Huffington Post
