JAMALI MADDIX

Jamali Maddix is one of most promising and exciting acts to hit the circuit in years. With an assured stage presence and considered material that comes from a fresh perspective, he already has the aura of a successful comic well beyond his years.

His natural confidence and charm allow him to tread gracefully across more sensitive topics leaving many of his contemporaries behind.

In his first two years of performing Jamali won the Comedy Café New Act of the Year Competition and the Chortle Student Comedy Award - all while making it look effortless.

Jamali has a plethora of gigs under his belt - he plays the Comedy Store and toured with them in the Middle East. In June 2015 he supported Jim Jefferies before a 3,500 strong Hyde Park audience. His debut hour at the Edinburgh Fringe was a total sell out and received rave reviews.

He has also done a plethora of TV shows including The John Bishop Show, Live at the Apollo and 8 out of 10 Cats. Jamali also became one of the faces for the new Viceland TV channel with his own series “Hate Thy Neighbor”.

"This is one of those shows you could happily watch—or actively experience—for hours." The List

"Maddix genuinely feels like a fresh voice." Chortle

"Something to offend everyone." The Sunday Times

JACOB HAWLEY

After reaching the finals of the BBC New Comedy Award in 2017, writing and starring in numerous shorts for BBC3 and featuring on Radio 4 and Talksport and BBC 5 Live, Jacob Hawley has become a critically acclaimed new voice in comedy.

In spring of 2019 he was one of 6 comedians commissioned to produce a stand up special for Radio 4; Welcome To Britain, a personal take on the class divide that lead to the Brexit Referendum, and is currently available on BBC iPlayer.

His podcast, Jacob Hawley: On Drugs, an earnest look at British drug culture bookended by Jacob’s stand up on the topic, is one of BBC Sounds’ most successful commissions and attracts tens of thousands of listeners each week.

"Mocks blind patriotism in an enjoyably offbeat way. Nicely Wry." Chortle

“A down-to-earth talent who’s got it in spades, it’s an impressive, strong debut show that makes it feel like he’s already been doing this for years.” The List

JOHN ROBERTSON

Comedian, author, columnist, satirist, professional troublemaker, multimedia artist, recreational sadist and anarchic improviser, John is an astonishing 21st century renaissance man.  He has toured the world with his 1980s text-based RPG phenomenon 'The Dark Room' and blown the bloody doors of most clubs with his super-charged whirlwind act.
“A manic and quick-witted revelation… if you only see one Perth-born set this year, make it John Robertson.” The Scotsman
“Stylish, alternative, funny.” Chortle
“Brilliant, bemusing and bloodthirsty.” Metro

LILY PHILLIPS

Lily is one of the most exciting up and coming voices in comedy in the UK. She is a Funny Women 2018 finalist and has already filmed for Comedy Central online.

Former member of the Ruby Darlings comedy cabaret group Lily has received five-star reviews, performed to sold-out audiences at the Edinburgh and Orlando Fringe Festivals, and supported Sandi Toksvig at the launch of the Women’s Equality Party.
