CARMEN LYNCH

Carmen Lynch is based in NYC and has performed on a string of late night shows including The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Conan, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and twice on The Late Show with David Letterman. She has also been featured on Inside Amy Schumer, The Good Wife, and recently starred in Carmen, a short film directed by Chloë Sevigny.  Her comedy is laconic and world-weary but with a scorpion's sting in the tail of every joke.

Last year she performed a sold out run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with her show Lynched.  She has travelled extensively performing for the troops in Iraq and Kuwait, as well as in Spanish-speaking countries doing stand-up in Spanish.  Her album Dance Like You Don’t Need the Money was reviewed by The New York Times as “one of five to stream”.

“A force to be reckoned with…she’s surprising and quirkily original, setting out a contentious position before justifying it with perverse logic.” The Scotsman

"Side-splittingly triumphant." Huffington Post

MATT STELLINGWERF

A relative newcomer to the UK, Matt is a slacker comic who remembered to pay attention at school, a super-cool tatooed rocker with a nerdy streak running all the way through him.  Most importantly, he's originally and superbly funny.

"An intellectual ‘Fonze’...extremely laid back and relaxed with the audience, seamlessly having banter and keeping his cool." Keeping Up With NZ

BEC HILL

Australian-born and now London-based, Bec has gained a cult following in Australia, the UK and Ireland thanks to her acclaimed solo shows and hugely popular YouTube videos, which have garnered over 200,000 views globally. She has a talent for incorporating arts and crafts into her stand-up routines; creating a unique and unforgettable comedy style that she calls “paper-puppetry”.

In the lat couple of years, she appeared at London’s famous Union Chapel with Alan Davies, Jimmy Carr and Kevin Eldon, and Galway’s Black Box Theatre alongside Milton Jones, Rob Delaney and Abandoman. She was also the support act for “Axis of Awesome” on their UK tour and co-host of Sky’s DC Fancast.  Bec can also be found as a guest on the 2nd series of "Dara O'Briain's Go 8 Bit", a judge on "Sam & Mark's Big Friday Wind-Up", and the voice of several characters in "Mass Effect: Andromeda". She also appeared in several series of CBBC's “The Dog Ate My Homework”, and starred in the Sundance UK Grand Jury Prize winning short film "Russian Roulette".

“Bec Hill: exuberant, daft and inventive.” ★★★★ The Scotsman

“There’s something special about Bec Hill.” ★★★★ The Times

WILLIAM STONE

William Stone is gathering moss. Stuck somewhere between reality and dreams in the nineties, he navigates his way through life with one-liners that highlight the absurdity of the mundane.  A one-of-a-kind peach of an act, he recently appeared on BBC Radio 2 as part of the BBC New Act Final.  An act for people who have been craving a comic who is the lovechild of Milton Jones and Vic & Bob.

"An excellent writer of quirky one-liners." Chortle

"William cracks me up, he's got some belting gags that I wish I'd thought of. Highly recommended" Angela Barnes

TOM PARRY

DOUBLE EDINBURGH COMEDY AWARD NOMINEE

One third of legendary boisterous sketch heroes Pappy’s, Tom joins us as he works through some new material in preparation for his much-anticipated and probably very silly solo Edinburgh Fringe debut.

“Masterful comic invention.” ★★★★★ The Guardian

“A beautifully constructed pyramid of lunacy in which physical and verbal gags fly around at a dizzying pace.” ★★★★★ Chortle

AND YOUR RESIDENT HOST

BEN VAN DER VELDE

Standing a statuesque five foot five inches high (not in heels) and weighing in at eleven stone (on a good day) Ben is the current light-middleweight contender for compering champion of North London.

"Sharp and crafty gagsmith, a life-giving compere." Chortle

"Wonderfully improvised riffs showcasing his impressive spontaneity and sharp tongue." Edinburgh Festivals Magazine

“The perfect comedy club host – he is a master of audience interaction. The audience weren’t just warmed up, but pretty hysterical even before the first act of the night hit the stage.”  Huffington Post
