TROY HAWKE

Troy Hawke is an erudite homeschooled 1930's throwback, the Errol Flynn of the high street. Educated, sophisticated, but utterly clueless. He tackles modern issues head on in his uniquely untimely manner.

Troy is the dapper alter-ego of acclaimed character comic Milo McCabe.  A hive of mad invention, Milo has been delighting audiences with his disarming and brilliant creations for years.  Troy is without doubt his finest yet: channelling the finest elements of the timeless, clueless English chap and popping him into the chaos of the modern world, Milo has created a winning formula that sees his take the roof off clubs and festival rooms up and down the country.

"Undeniably funny." Chortle

"Mad comic genius." The Scotsman

"Spectacular character...brilliantly sharp, lacing his wit with a touch of the surreal." Fest

DIANE SPENCER

Diane Spencer is comedian, actor and writer. Diane is best known as a stand-up comedian on the UK circuit and has performed worldwide, achieving international recognition for her hilarious work. Diane debuted at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival in 2009, as part of the “Big Comedy Breakfast”, then returned with a new hour “Lost in the Mouth Specific” in 2010 performed on the PBH free fringe. This show and her early work on the UK circuit led to Diane winning the Chortle Award for Best Newcomer (2011). Since then she has written a brand new show every year, each receiving critical acclaim for her honest, filthy and insightful stand-up.

“Between her theatrical facial expressions, on-point character roles and enthralling story-telling ability, Spencer mesmerises the crowd.” ***** Edinburgh Festivals Magazine

“You know that line that people tell you not to cross, as far as boundaries are concerned? I think Diane leapt across it and kept on running. Glitteringly, gob-smackingly outrageous stuff.” Sunday Express

MAISIE ADAM

Maisie Adam is a young female comedian from Yorkshire. Having only started on the circuit in 2016, her anecdotal material and self-deprecating charm have quickly won her praise up and down the country.

In 2017, Maisie entered the nationwide So You Think You're Funny? competition (which has previously been won by many of her comedy heroes, including Peter Kay, Aisling Bea, Tom Allen, David O'Doherty and Lee Mack). Before she knew it, she found herself with a place in the Grand Final at the Gilded Balloon in Edinburgh. On the competition's 30th anniversary, she won, becoming the 4th woman to have ever won SYTYF.

She is a comedian who leaves the audience belly laughing, giving standing ovations, throwing roses onstage, naming their babies after her - but most importantly, she is a comedian who never exaggerates.

"Exudes an appealing, quirky energy and is clearly a natural wit" Chortle

ROSS SMITH

Self-described beta-male Ross Smith (although others also use this term to describe him) has already made his mark on the London comedy scene through featuring in several high profile competitions, becoming a regular face at some of the capitals biggest comedy clubs and hosting the renowned Comedy Virgins at the Cavendish Arms.

Smith’s razor wit, matched with a warmth, sincerity and likeability make him a joy to behold.

"Brilliant! You know an act has confidence in his jokes when he laminates them!" Jason Manford

ROB OLDHAM

Still a relative newcomer to the comedy scene, but already with bags of pedigree, Rob's marvellous smart oddball comedy has already gained him much acclaim.  A member of the esteemed Cambridge Footlights in 2016, Rob went onto garner success as a solo performer in 2017 as winner of the Amused Moose Breakthrough Award.

"He has quirky, offbeat sensibilities that distil into smart jokes that rarely sound like anyone else’s." Chortle

AND YOUR GUEST HOST:

ALEXANDER BENNETT

Alexander Bennett has been performing comedy from the age of 15, and is a rising star on the British alternative comedy scene. He has performed with the popular and acclaimed comedy groups ACMS and Weirdos, and will be taking a solo show and a game show set in hell to the 2015 Edinburgh Fringe.

“Witty, weird and dark, the one to watch out for: at the spearhead of a wave of great new comics. All hail Alexander Bennett!” Harry Hill

“Warm, insane and very funny.” The Guardian
