New Year. New Hope. New Labour. New menu, new chef, same risk. New carpet? Nope, just had the old one shampooed.
But enough of that guff, and let’s not waste each other’s time with any bollocky resolutions that won’t last the month. What we have to offer is a good old-fashioned opportunity to laugh your shapely bottoms off at the BULL’S HIT COMEDY CLUB.
We return on Wednesday 6th February with PAUL SINHA and SUZY BENNETT. You might have seen Paul ‘Sinnerman’ Sinha politely blasting hopeful contestants into oblivion on ITV’s The Chase; but you might also know that he’s a top-class stand-up with a wicked edge, loads of experience, a range of television and Radio 4 work under his belt, and brilliantly, bitingly sharp material. People have said these things:

And Suzy Bennett? No word will suffice except ‘superb’. Former Butlins Redcoat Suzy ‘accidentally’ won the Funny Women Awards on her sixth gig – her first was in the final of Jimmy Carr’s Comedy Idol – and has been wowing audiences around the country with her warm, chatty style and hilarious stories. She was chosen as tour support act for Russell Kane on his Smallness show, and he described her as a ‘charm bomb’. Suzy was thrilled to be included in the Evening Herald’s list of ‘Coolest Plymouth Women’.
