Our Review Of Tigermilk London: Affordable Latin American Brunches In A Gorgeous Tropical Paradise

With recent headlines saying it’s basically rained most days since the beginning of 2026, you can hardly blame me for craving even the slightest slither of sunshine. But here’s the thing: Londoners can get their balmy fix at Tigermilk – a stylish restaurant just shy of Oxford Street, promising plates inspired by Latin America but with a playful, cheeky twist.

Named after the famous citrusy marinade, Tigermilk gained serious attention in France and Belgium, before coming here in June 2025. Hot news: we’ve also just heard they’re opening a brand new, biggest ever site at Spitalfields this April.

Ambience & We Think Perfect For

  • Atmosphere: muted interiors, this is not. Get ready for a bold, bright aesthetic, featuring coral-coloured walls and rustic mirrored ceilings, paired with giant cacti, trailing ivy and an abundance of foliage. The kitsch wallpaper and quirky floral artwork gave things a whimsical feel, plus we loved the Art Deco bulb lighting that gave off a warm glow. Don't skip on the impressive golden hour-esque bar space towards the back, ideal for people watching too. Quite frankly, you’d be forgiven in thinking you’d entered a lush Mexican hacienda. In terms of the crowd? It was mainly groups of friends, creating a lively but still classy buzz.
  • Perfect For: either refuelling after hitting the shops or a fun way to kick-start your weekend.

Menu Highlights

We took advantage of the new brunch deal, available at weekends from 11am to 4pm. Here, you can pick one savoury dish and one dessert from the menu, plus a hot drink, for £29 per person. Top tip - there are optional bottomless cocktail upgrades.

Food⭐⭐⭐

  • Avo toast - a brunch fave for a reason, but this one was knockout. Just imagine a huge, doorstop-sized slice of sourdough boasting silky, chunky avocado topped with dots of zesty mango dressing. I was also particularly fond of the sweet potato side, which cut through like butter, finished with a wonderful chipotle and coriander cream that was remarkably light. Props to the shakes of Tajin-like seasoning - what a genius move. Note, if the mood takes you, an oozy egg can be added for £3.50.
  • Chicken waffle - my date said this was a 10/10, bringing together crispy-coated meat on a sweet, fluffy base, drizzled in a delightful agave syrup and scattered with pomegranate gems. She couldn't get enough of the jalapeño cream and sour pickled onions as well.
  • Brioche perdue - a spin on classic French toast, expect a cloud-like, caramelised slice that was smothered in whipped cream and a decadent sauce that’ll satisfy your sweet tooth in droves. The addition of candied nuts was great – make sure to order this when you stop by.
  • Melty hot cookie - served in a piping hot skillet, this pud was soft in the middle and had bite on the outside, just how I like it. The peanut butter was a nice touch and worked well with the dulce de leche ice cream. It was quite rich, probably slightly too much for one person to manage, but was still really enjoyable.

Drink: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Margarita (£10.50) - it'd be rude not to, right? This cocktail definitely delivered: prepare for the perfect balance of sweet and sharpness, presented with dehydrated lime and an unmistakable salty rim.
  • Latte (included in the brunch offer) - smooth and delicious - just the caffeine hit we needed.

Our Overall Experience At Tigermilk London

DesignMyNight Review Out Of 5: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

There’s a lot to love about the new Tigermilk London brunch menu, and it goes without saying the zingy yet comforting plates were not only really tasty but an absolute bargain. The surrounds were as stunning in real life as they are on Instagram, and the reviews aren’t wrong when they say service was incredible - a true joy to experience.
