Cannot... stop... drooling...

‘You can never have too much of a good thing,’ your Nan always said, grinning knowingly at you when you were ten. And she was right, good things are the only motivation you're smelling someone’s ten-hour-day armpit as it rests on your face on the Central Line, but London, as always, wants to push that old saying to its logical extreme. Which is how we get to Maxwell’s Bar & Grill’s latest grilled experiment, the Bacon Cheeseburger Donuts.

Yep, the purveyors of the infamous ‘Cheesebomb’ have done it again by combining everyone’s favourite guilty pleasure with everyone’s Burger King order to create something truly spectacular. First they grill the juicy beef patties, then they add in cheese, onions and pickles, before even more cheese and rashes of smoky, smoky bacon get thrown into the mix. Wrap it up in fresh dough and deep fry it and you have a creation only someone in the throes of a hangover could create. Your taste buds might not be able to have too much of a good thing, just make sure your blood pressure agrees.
