Working with a host of small independent, family-run businesses, Mac & Wild's virtual shop now stocks a varied selection of fresh and high-quality produce and wild game. As well as their signature venison haggis, carnivores can sink their chops into a host of dry-aged steaks, lamb shoulders and sausages. But that's not all. The kitchen's also put together a range of DIY boxes filled with meats to last you the week. Options include lean-eating meals, a family-focussed assortment or - and our personal favourite - a breakfast box to brighten up your Saturday. At only £34.78 the brunch bundle comes complete with three eight packs of beef, traditional square-shaped and venison sausages, smoked streaky bacon, haggis and both a black and white pudding.

After all, you may be cooped up indoors, but there's no reason not to enjoy a wee treat every now and then.

Mac & Wild's online butchery is available across the UK, with weekday orders made before 8am expected to arrive by 12pm the next day.
