An Alpine-Themed Rooftop Bar Is Serving Alcoholic Chocolate Fondue This Christmas

Apres 23

Better than dunking your food in melted chocolate? It's melted alcoholic chocolate...

Christmas can be a bit like a Tinder date: looks fantastic on paper but resoundingly average in flesh. It promises baubles and tinsel, mounds of juicy turkey and litres of mulled wine, snow-covered pine trees and icy blue skies - but when December rolls round, it's usually eggnog hangovers and brie-flavoured crisp bloat for the next month. Not this year if London Hilton Metropole have anything to do with it as they transform rooftop bar Vista @ 23 into Après 23, an alpine lodge with some of London's best views.

Available for private parties of up to 100, the snuggly space has got all the standard chalet cuteness, from tartan rugs and wooden cladding through to Christmas trees and ski-themed artwork, along with some of the best food offerings, ever. Chocolate fondue is being spiked with booze for an alcoholic take, there's classic cheese fondue with lumps of sourdough to dunk in, and a raclette station. When you're done working your way through all the dairy, check out the Jägerbomb station for some real après-ski fun.

Après 23 can be found at 225 Edgware Road, London, W2 1JU, and is available for between 4-100 people with a range of sharing party dates. It will be open from November 2019 - January 2020.
