Still not making it up the slopes this year? If you're piste off at your lack of skiing this season, you'll be glad to know that the world of après is still very much within reach this winter. From cosy Alpine-themed bars to Champagne chalets and oozing fondues, these snowy spots are channelling major Val Thoren vibes in the heart of the capital. Strap on your goggles and check out our guide on where to après ski in London. After all, the snow must go on.
Found in the heart of Fulham, Neverland has once again undergone its annual transformation into the snow-topped Winterland. Decked out with cosy chalets and twinkling lights, this pop-up wouldn't look out of place at the base of Whistler. Head here for hot mulled wine around a fire pit or an Alpine fondue experience, which will see you gorging on sourdough pizzas, gourmet burgers and lashings of the cheesy stuff. Better yet? Turn up in your ski suit and you'll bag yourself a free shot.
You'll find a full winter forest and Alpine hall split over two sprawling floors for Deck The Halls At Pergola Paddington. Waltz your way through 350 snow-topped Christmas trees - yup, that zero is there on purpose - or hunker down in a range of private chalets or cosy seating. And that's not all... Chow your way through plates of warming grub at one of five pop-up restaurants (or all of them if you fancy) and head down for events ranging from Christmas sausage dog parties to full on feasts.
If you're in the market for something seriously lavish for an office bash, family affair or big group get together, then Evolution London's après extravaganza in Battersea Park is not to be missed. With cascading snow, suspended ski lifts, twenty foot Christmas trees, chandeliers and intimate lodges, this may just well be the swankiest do you've ever set foot in - never mind it being wonderfully wintery to boot. A three course meal, acrobats and a DJ keeps you entertained throughout the night too, if the setting wasn't already enough...
Returning on the 10th November, Montague on the Gardens Ski Lodge is just about as close as you'll get to the Alps without boarding an EasyJet flight (and there's no excess fare to store your snow gear either). Offering pine trees, piste maps and actual falling snow, this gorgeous Holborn spot is a truly immersive affair. Ski passes can be purchased for £50, and include mini bratwurst, deep-fried Camembert and a selection of mulled drinks and flavoured shots - all without leaving Zone 1.
New kid on the block The Curling Club launches at Finsbury Square on the 1st December and The Langham on the 24th November - and this isn't your usual winter wonderland. Yes, it boasts a gorgeous Alpine theme, lashings of fondue, mountains of street food and winter cocktails aplenty, but it's also a quirky pop-up letting you try your hand at the Olympic sport. This fast-form version of the game will see you sweeping your way to success before heading off to the bar.
The king of pop-ups is back, bringing Alpine-themed fun to the heart of South Bank. Offering a slightly more classy affair to the usually debaucherous après ski proceedings, The Lodge and Jimmy's cosy igloos are serving up oozing pots of cheese fondue, steak sharers and boozy hot chocolates. A wonderland of wooden cladding, faux fur throws and quaint ski memorabilia, the two-storey shack and its neighbouring winter pods are the perfect spot to rest and recuperate after slaloming through London's Christmas crowds.

Skylight has long been a mainstay on London's winter bar scene, but now the rooftop haunt is welcoming the return of its après ski lodge to Tobacco Dock - perfect for a night of chalet partying. Resident DJs will spin tracks 'til close, while guests gather around lantern-lit tables and hunker down in cosy igloos to dig into a selection of hearty dishes. There'll also be a menu of festive-inspired sips, and of course, steaming mulled wine aplenty. To top it off, their ice rink is returning for the first time since 2019, so whack out that Christmas jumper to keep you warm and give it a whirl.
A year-round celebration of all things Alpine, The White Haus is a quirky Farringdon pub that promises to transport you to the snow-capped mountains. Open from 10am 'til late, it's the ideal place for a daytime bash, with warming fondues, aged sirloin steaks and bubble and squeak keeping you fuelled throughout. Perfect for group get-togethers and romantic date nights alike, there's a choice of private spaces, from a snug winter lounge to a suspended gondola lift.
Après London At Flat Iron Square
If you're headed south of the river rather than down to the Alps this year, you'll still have plenty of Alpine bar action locked and loaded thanks to Après London at Flat Iron Square. This year-round spot is decked out with fluffy blankets and strings of fairy lights, giving off all the intimate and cosy vibes you'll need to kick start your après. To top it off? Feast at the seven food traders and three restaurants scattered around the venue's railway arches.
Haugen's long-anticipated opening in Stratford brings Alpine antics to London all year round and we couldn't be happier. This romantic dining spot at The Pavillion boasts stunning Bauhaus-inspired architecture, for chalet vibes with a modern twist. The nitty gritty? The brasserie offers up vegan schnitzel burgers and steak tartare. Plus, there's a set brunch backed by beats from the slope and an après ski happy hour, where you can nab strudel flavoured cocktails and wild berry mojitos for just £6. Ski you at the bar.
