Winterland
Found in the heart of Fulham, Neverland has once again undergone its annual transformation into the snow-topped Winterland. Boasting cosy chalets and twinkling lights, this pop-up is one of the best places to après ski in London. Head here for hot mulled wine around a fire pit or an epic fondue experience, which will see you gorging on sourdough pizzas, gourmet burgers and lashings of the cheesy stuff.
Pergola Deck The Halls
You'll find a full winter forest, twinkling lights and three new pop-up restaurants at Pergola Deck The Halls. Waltz your way through snow-topped Christmas trees or hunker down in a range of comfy seating. Enjoy DJs and Alpine-themed specials, including naughty hot chocolates, boozy fondue boards and gooey raclette.
Montague on the Gardens Ski Lodge
Returning on the 6th of November, Montague on the Gardens Ski Lodge is just about as close as you'll get to the Alps without boarding an EasyJet flight (and there's no excess fare to store your snow gear either). Offering pine trees, piste maps and actual falling snow, this gorgeous Holborn spot is a truly immersive affair. Ski lodge packages include everything from a festive floating buffet to glasses of mulled wine and much more.
Fire & Fromage
The king of pop-ups is back, bringing winter-themed fun to the heart of Southbank. Head to the cosy riverside retreat over at Fire & Fromage and enjoy everything from the brilliant raclette bar to epic winter feasts and toasted marshmallows. A wonderland of wooden cladding and iconic igloos, the haunt is the perfect spot to relax.
Aviary
One of the best après London restaurants this season, Aviary is back with Nordic Nights. In partnership with Grey Goose, the heated igloos are providing unique dining and drinking experiences, complete with ooey gooey Swiss cheese and themed cocktails such as the Northern Sky and Merry Dancer. Settle in and admire the gorgeous city views while getting snug as a bug underneath a thick blanket.
Skylight
Skylight has long been a mainstay on London's winter bar scene and it's coming in hot this season with 45-minute ice skating sessions and sky-high heated igloos. Cuddle up inside the beautiful pods featuring faux-fur throws and woolly blankets while chowing down on jacket potatoes smothered in melted cheese and slinging back a mug of spiced mulled wine.
Patch
With locations in St Paul's and the City of London, Patch has plenty to offer including a cracking festive menu. Enjoy seasonal sips such as gingerbread bellinis alongside Christmas turkey croquettes and succulent steaks. It also doesn't hurt that the venue is decked out with plenty of ski memorabilia, fur throws and gorgeous plush seating. Swoon.
The White Haus
A year-round celebration of all things Alpine, The White Haus is a quirky Farringdon pub that promises to transport you to the snow-capped mountains. Open from 12pm 'til late, it's the ideal place for a daytime bash, with warming fondues, aged sirloin steaks and bubble and squeak keeping you fuelled throughout. There's also a choice of private spaces, from a snug winter lounge to a suspended gondola lift.
Tipis On The Green
If you're looking for après ski bars in London, Tipis On The Green is a more than suitable spot. Open from the 17th of November to the 22nd of December, the pop-up restaurant bar is the perfect plot for Baileys hot chocolates, mulled wine and French diot sausages. With traditional wood panelling and biofuel fire pit tables, the Alpine vibes here are undeniable.
