THE LOST CROWN OF DRAXA GRAAL

A 5E ADVENTURE PRESENTED BY GUY SCLANDERS

Embark upon an unforgettable full-day Dungeons and Dragons adventure, delivered by Ennie nominated and award-winning Game Master and author: Guy Sclanders. Your quest to recover a dark crown of unspeakable evil will be fully personalized as you work with Guy to create a character and venture into the world of Greyport, and the Archipelago.

This immersive event will be hosted in the heart of our Guild Hall, complete with thematic set dressing, dynamic lighting, and all the adventuring essentials you need to begin your tale. Including a custom-built virtual tabletop for maps, premium dice, and miniatures to bring your journey to life…

You’ll be well stocked with provisions for your journey, as this experience comes with a complimentary bar with refreshments and light bites right besides the table. You’ll also be welcomed into our Apothecary above for lunch and an alchemic cocktail (or other beverage) of your choosing.

THE STORY

'Greetings! I write to you now on a matter of utmost importance! My name is Chancellor Brassen, head of the High Magica Inquisit Academy. We've recently discovered the location of a most powerful artefact which we're very eager to secure. I've been reliably informed that you are exceptionally talented at taking on missions with a certain... death-may-happen aspect. The Academy is willing to pay you a sum of 500 gp just to attend the briefing scheduled for noon tomorrow. Should you agree to attend, we'll bring you to the Academy at noon. Simply squash the attached imp to confirm.'

- Chancellor Brassen, HTrn, MGE, XYZ --HMI Academy

Welcome to the world of Greyport!

‘Ah, Greyport – city of a thousand ships, home to millions of rats, and the land of opportunity for the bold, the daring, and the Insane.’

Greyport is a large port town that is critical to this part of the world. The Human Alliance is based here, and her impressive navy calls these docks home. From here civilization is spread across the region. Most species live here, and most can claim a family member who is a sailor, a shipwright, or a dock worker – life here is mostly focused on the sea and the ships that sail upon it.

This is an epic adventure that will take your heroes across the Arc and perhaps beyond. Discover, explore and journey in places you’ve never gone before!

‘Most folks find my games to be massive in scale. Jokes, humour and the dark side of violence and combat all twist together to create a roller-coaster of an adventure. But – I never know how my games will end, that is up to all of us to discover as a group. Follow your heart, your head, or your stomach – but dive into this world and this game, you can only get more out of it.’

After buying your ticket, you will receive a full campaign briefing document and a Discord invitation that will provide you with all the information you need to create your character and share them with Guy.

IMPORTANT INFO

CONTENT WARNINGS AND TRIGGERS: Guy’s games are generally aimed at PG 15. He includes species who enslave others, violence is committed against enemies, and the attitudes of the ancient world are held by most of the EVIL characters and species within his world – that is what makes them evil. He also includes species and cultures that share an enlightened modern view of inclusivity and non-discrimination on any grounds.

‘If you have any specific triggers or areas, you’d like me to specifically exclude from the game, I’m on Discord, drop me a line - will make it my priority to adjust and adapt.

One of my first D&D in a Castle players listed Mayonnaise as a triggering item not to be included in the game. I’m happy to say, five years later we still play together annually, I attended his wedding and he mine. His openness and honesty and my exclusion of that little item forged a friendship that I am truly grateful for. Thank you, Jim!’

Great fun if you're into things like Dungeons & Dragons, Lord of the Rings or Baldur’s Gate 3. But also really accessible if you've never touched TTRPG's! They explain all the rules as the show goes on - and let the audience decide dice rolls too!
