One of our veteran game masters will guide you through all the essential rules, before leading you into your first adventure. What better place to discover the world of D&D than a real rustic fantasy tavern? We'll provide you with everything you need to begin your journey.
This beginners night will be introducing the new 5E 2024 rules, making it perfect for new players, but also those looking to refresh themselves on the new ruleset.
Important Notes: We suggest you download the D&D Beyond App and create an account before attending for the best possible experience!
Arrival and Start Time: When you arrive, please head to the bar in the Apothecary to check in. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before the ticketed start time to give you enough time to order drinks and settle in!
Please note, all sessions begin at 6:30 promptly. If you arrive after games have begun, there is no guarantee that we will be able to seat you at a table.

Code of Conduct: We expect all players to read and abide by our Code of Conduct at all times. This can be found here: https://arcaniststavern.uk/safety. Any breach of our code of conduct will lead to a cautioning or permanent ban from the venue.
Lateness: All sessions begin at 6:30PM promptly. If you arrive after this time we may not be able to guide you to your table. In these instances you will not be refunded. We suggest arriving at least 15 minutes before the ticketed start time for the best experience.
Outside Food: We are an independent business, and do not allow outside food or drink to be consumed on the premises.
Animals: We do not allow animals to attend any of our ticketed events, partnered or otherwise. This is due to sensory, allergy and trigger issues.
