As if Kingsland Road couldn't get any hotter, 2021 is seeing a brand new cocktail bar land on the East London strip and it's looking big. Joining the ranks of world class sipping spots like Three Sheets and TT Liquor, A Bar With Shapes For A Name is set to bridge the gap between Dalston and Shoreditch.

Also known as 🔶🟥🔵, A Bar With Shapes For A Name is led by bartender royalty Remy Savage. He previously headed up The Little Red Door in Paris and The Langham's Artesian, and is now bringing artsy drinks to Haggerston. Influenced by the legendary German art school Bauhaus and its focus on minimalism, functionalism and design, the new opening will stock only 20 bottles, share all recipes online and operate an 'exchange student program' where ambitious bartenders from around the world can work, learn and teach with for 3 months... all paid, of course.

For those of you who care less about the concept and all about the cocktails? The menu's looking mega. Expect reimagined classics like the gimlet which pairs The Botanist gin with berry distillate and a passionfruit and celery cordial, alongside an espresso martini which meticulously balances Columbian and Ethiopian roasts with vodka, cognac, sugar and salt.

You won't have to wait for the green light from BoJo to get your hands on a drink either, with bottled cocktails available for delivery now. That's lockdown drinks sorted.
