The Old Orchard Inn

A hidden gem in South Dublin, The Old Orchard Inn is a favourite for hearty, international fare - with an extensive menu to choose from. Think corn-fed chicken supreme, tofu red Thai curry or battered cod tacos, to name just a few of their dishes.

This charming spot is known for its warm hospitality and regular live music. The interiors are rustic and comfortable, and if you head outside you'll find a sunny terrace that's both heated and covered, filled with pretty plants.

Lennan’s Yard

There's all sorts going on at Lennan's Yard, a multi-venue establishment on the buzzing Dawson Street. They've got several different eateries on-site, including a cosy gastropub that features comfy leather seating and exposed brick walls, and there's outdoor dining space too.

Tuck into everything from Irish lobster arancini to suckling pig with carrot puree or smoked striploin steaks - all washed down by a refreshing beer or cocktail.

The Hairy Lemon

The Hairy Lemon, located on Stephen Street Lower in Dublin, is a lively and eclectic pub-restaurant set in a 19th-century building, known for its quirky décor including vintage memorabilia, a suspended sitting room, and “Granny's Kitchen.” Named after a colourful 1940s Dublin character, it remains a favourite among locals and tourists for its authentic Irish atmosphere, live traditional music, and sporting event screenings.

It continues to serve hearty Irish fare like Dublin Coddle and Beef & Guinness Pie.

The Porterhouse

Located just off Grafton Street, Porterhouse Central - as it's known - has one of the longest bars in the city. Tuck into a selection of classic pub grub accompanied by bottled beers and draught ales before settling in for the nightly entertainment.

The Sin Bin

While they may not technically be a pub as such, The Sin Bin are serving up some mouthwatering gastro grub in their slick surroundings. Pair each dish with an expertly-mixed cocktail and the latest sporting fixture, and you've experience this top Dublin bar at its very finest.

The Stag's Head

Make your way to Dame Court where this historical watering hole is serving over 147 of the finest whiskies and pints this side of Dublin. Expect traditional interiors, cosy little snugs and plush seating alongside lashings of Guinness.
