What they say:
Putting seafood in pride of place but taking away any fancy stigma to be replaced by silly enjoyment, Fish + Liquor brings coastal wares to the easy, breezy dining market. Wanting this to be a great place for everyone, even those stragglers who just don't fancy any fish; chicken, halloumi and beef options do come up on the fun menu. Daring anybody to keep a straight face for the evening, names like 'Chips that make you go boom' chuckle up from their selection of wares.
What we say:
Seafood isn't usually given the time of day in casual joints a few notches up from fast food, unless it's your local chippy. This great place makes an informal feast of fish, also opening its reach to things like The Moby Dick - a haddock ciabatta sandwich. We're eagerly awaiting what this place will have to say for itself in terms of liquor, but with the addition of a great drinks menu it'll be a winner. Lending a bright and clean feel and an array of imaginative yet simple dishes, this is a breath of fresh air in the meat dominated market.
