Meet 670 Grams: a cool fine dining restaurant coming to The Custard Factory later this year.

Founded by culinary heavyweight Kray Treadwell, the eatery promises to deliver first-rate food at a reasonable price. And with over 20 years of experience as head chef at Michelin-starred Man Behind The Curtain, alongside TV fame as a finalist on Great British Menu, it's safe to say the guy knows his stuff.

Named after the weight of his prematurely-born baby girl, 670 Grams is an intimate sixteen-seater gem located in Digbeth. Based over two storeys, the ground floor seats eight hungry dinners whilst upstairs features a solo-manned open kitchen and a further six covers, including a two-person chef’s table for those looking for some theatrics.

On the menu you'll find a range of small plates, sharing platter and larger dishes, inspired by a variety of modern European cuisine, Asian flavours and even a few takeaway classics. We're talking tear'n'shares inspired by Tesco cheese and onion sandwiches. However, the star of the show has got to be the 10-course tasting experience, priced at £55. Dietary requirements can also be catered to with 24 hours notice. As for drinks, the bar will serve a selection of craft brews as well as artisanal G&Ts made with their own with homemade syrups.
