Ever just think wine not? Then you're going to love Michelin-starred chef Glynn Purnell's brand-spanking-new spot on Edmund Street. Known for award-winning fine dining restaurants, including Purnell’s Bistro & Ginger’s Bar and Purnell's, the 'Yummy Brummie' has now opened a gorgeous tapas-style eatery in the city centre for his next venture.

Step inside Plates By Purnell's, where you'll be met with contemporary features, such as exposed brick walls, pretty greenery and plenty of cosy corners for sipping. This hub is also slightly different from the celebrity chef's past venues, as it offers a more laid-back dining environment.

Wondering what tasty delights are on the menu? Expect classic Spanish-inspired dishes that are made for sharing, from the likes of oozy cheese croquettes to grilled octopus.
