Calling all Max Verstappen wannabes: F1 Arcade, an official Formula 1 gaming bar, is launching in Birmingham city centre this autumn. And you know what? It looks pretty damn cool, with bespoke simulators, sophisticated interiors and a lineup of quirky cocktails.
The brand only just opened its first venue in London last year, which has quickly become a hotspot for racing enthusiasts – and we expect the Chamberlain Square site to be equally as buzzing. Get ready for a seriously sleek setup, from an Art Deco-style bar and groovy tiled floors to neon lights illuminating the space. But that’s not all, as there will also be 53 simulators, each with full-motion and audio-visual effects for an immersive, high-octane experience. Plus during the Grand Prix? It’ll be hosting epic watch parties.
Once the checkered flag has been waved, you can stick around for a chinwag with your mates, delving into the expansive drinks list as a DJ thumps out bangers. While craft beers and Champagne-laced sips will be available, it’s the themed cocktail selection for us. Think quaffs like The Home Straight, featuring Bourbon, mezcal, Suze and nectarine sugar. You won't be going hungry here either, with dishes such as wagyu burgers or cauliflower wings on the menu.
