London’s Vinoteca is opening its first site in Birmingham. The renowned wine bar will be pouring it up as part of the £700 million Paradise development in Chamberlain Square, along with another London heavyweight Dishoom. This will be Vinoteca’s first venture outside of London, and it seems only fitting that they would choose an all-new development in a city as vibrant as Brum to set up shop. So what can we expect?

Inspired by the wine bars of Italy and Spain, Vinoteca combines informal drinking with characterful bottles and paired dishes of fresh, seasonal produce. With an ever-changing selection of 25 wines to buy by the glass or bottle in each venue's wine shop, the bar and restaurant holds variety and quality close to its heart.

Meanwhile, the restaurant makes use of carefully-sourced ingredients to create daily specials and tailored menus for each location. Birmingham can anticipate a menu of vibrant traditional flavours, with seasonal food offerings alongside staples such as daily fresh-baked bread and their signature Vinoteca bavette steak, paired with a perfectly robust red wine. With five venues across London, each offering their own unique dining experience, we’ll be intrigued to see what they bring to their first Midlands site.
