Bratwursts & Baubles: This German Christmas Festival Is Back On Victoria Square And New Street

Frankfurt Christmas Market Birmingham | DesignMyNight

This German festival promises Insta photos that sleigh.

Ready to get into the seasonal spirit? Grab your favourite jumper and snow hat because the Frankfurt Christmas Market is back. Taking place on Victoria Square and New Street, this festive gem will be decked out to the nines, from huge Santa statues and tonnes of twinkling lights to a huge tree and Instagrammable carousel.

Known as the largest German Christmas market outside of Germany or Austria, the pop-up will be jam-packed with entertainment. Catch live performances from both international and local musicians while sipping mulled wine or warming hot chocolate. If that doesn’t wet your whistle, check out the tempting treats being offered, from bratwursts and salted pretzels to roasted almonds and classic schnitzels. Finish off with chocolate-covered marshmallows – something yule go nuts for. ‘Tis the season for gift giving? Make your Christmas shopping a little less last-minute and nab handcrafted décor and glass baubles at a slew of independent stalls.

The Frankfurt Christmas Market will take place the 3rd of November to the 23rd of December from 10am to 9pm. Click here for more Christmas events in Birmingham and sign up to our newsletter for the latest updates.
