The Big Birmingham Bake is putting amateur bakers through their paces this winter. 

Don't want none unless it's got buns, hun? Then this is the challenge for you. Heading to the city centre this December, The Big Birmingham Bake is set to put local amateur bakers through the ringer.

Following a successful run in London, the pop-up experience will be heading to The Midlands. Birmingham's bakers will have 90 minutes to create a bake based on a specific theme, whisking, rolling and drizzling all the way to the gingham altar, where they’ll present a glory-worthy masterpiece (without a dull crust in sight). 

The space itself will be made up of 12 stations with 2 people per team. All the ingredients are provided, so all you'll need to bring is your imagination and culinary knowledge. When the time is up, the winning team will be crowned.

The Big Birmingham Bake kicks off on 15th December with varying times and dates. You can find the Big Bake Marquee at 110 -112 Floodgate Street, Birmingham, B5 5SR. Tickets start at £39.50 and can be purchased here.
