London Mayor Sadiq Khan has confirmed Tube and Travelcard fares will jump 5.8% in March 2026, outpacing inflation. Some individual fares may rise slightly more, with no exact date set. The hike follows a government order requiring TfL to raise prices by RPI plus one percent every year until 2030 to unlock a £2.2 billion funding boost.
