What do feminist inclusion, allyship and collective action mean right now? And how do we draw on the support of others, while giving proactive and effective support? How do you mobilise your own allies, use your voice, and ensure no one is left behind?

We cannot wait to bring together an explosive panel of expert and brilliant writers this month – Chimene Suleyman, author of spellbinding memoir The Chain: The Relationships That Break Us And The Women Who Rebuild Us and Sophie Williams, author of the vitally important The Glass Cliff and Anti-Racist Ally .

They will share their compelling stories – with searing honesty, no nonsense advice, practical tips and more – and demonstrate how feminist solidarity can change lives despite adversity, abuse and oppression. We’ll be exploring how we can reach out, or step up, how to redefine feminist leadership and nurture better allyship and asking – crucially – how do we empower one another and ourselves at work, in our relationships and day-to-day lives?

This is not just our fight. Where are our allies right now, and what are they doing to support our fight against prejudice? Why is the onus always on the oppressed and the marginalised to do the work? We’re calling an end to that.

This is going to be Feminist Book Society at its fiercest, future-shaping, game-changing best. Come along – bring your allies – and be a part of it.

Great event as always, wasn't keen on the interviewer but Cathi's content was excellent and provided insight into a fascinating period.
