May is Mushroom Month, and the Celtic festival Beltane, May day, traditionally the first day to forage for fungi revered for their mystical and nutritional properties.
To celebrate, join our panel of fungi experts including:
Mike Green, founder of The London Fungus Network, on fungal biology and ecology.
Macro mycology photographer Max Mudie, on his experiences capturing the intricate details of fungi in nature.
Musican Brian d’Souza who ‘acoustic ecologies’ with the electrical signals from fungi
And Jana Nicole, award-winning artist on how fungi inspire her work.
The evening will also be the private view of an exhibition of astonishing new works based on fungi by Jana Nicole
