Best Oktoberfest Events In London 2026

Uncover Oktoberfest in London, as every autumn, it transforms into a Bavarian dream - complete with beer steins, brass bands, bratwurst, and lederhosen. While Oktoberfest’s heart may beat loudest in Munich, the world’s most famous beer festival has found a second home in the UK capital, where we don our dirndls and toast to tradition with impressive enthusiasm.

The original Oktoberfest dates back to 1810, when a royal wedding in Bavaria turned into such a good time that locals decided to do it again - and again, and again, until it became an annual blowout of beer, music, and gemütlichkeit. In our city today, it's still a riotous blend of tradition but with some modern flair: think oompah bands sharing stages with DJs, huge beers halls and German venues serving schnitzel and more, all of which you can find in our guide. Prost. 🥨 🥨 🥨
