SEAN MCLOUGHLIN
Sean McLoughlin is an acclaimed stand-up comedian and writer based in London, described as “The best comedian you haven’t heard of” by Time Out and “an impassioned and uniquely brilliant talent” by The List.
Hugely in-demand in the U.K. and internationally he has most recently been the tour support for Ricky Gervais in arenas across the globe, having previously opened for Bill Burr at the Royal Albert Hall and performed a gala show at the Sydney Opera House. If that’s not pedigree with a capital ‘P’ then we don’t know what is. He finally made his debut on Live at the Apollo in 2022 and is one of the most beloved and respected acts on the circuit.
His stand-up is observational, self-effacing, poetic, beautifully constructed and explosively funny.
CALLY BEATON
Cally is a natural storyteller full of intelligent, distinctive and punchline-rich material. Her act is a rollercoaster ride of anecdotes, observations and stuff even your best mate wouldn’t admit to. She has appeared on John Lloyd’s Museum of Curiosity on BBC Radio 4 and QI, as well as regularly popping up on the New York City circuit.
“Cally Beaton is an exciting and hilarious talent, definitely one to watch. Sometimes you just know when someone’s got it – and she’s got it” Time Out
“Properly funny. A real find” Sandi Toksvig
FARAH SHARP
Farah is an English-Egyptian comedian based in London. She has performed around the UK as well as in Sydney, Australia. Her standup is a mix of quirky opinions and anecdotes, often based around her upbringing or relationships and what she has or hasn’t! learnt from them. She performs regularly at The West End Comedy Club.
AND YOUR RESIDENT HOST:
BEN VAN DER VELDE
One of the quickest wits around and a much-loved compere, he always brings a jam-packed back of nonsense, silliness and wisecracks to every gig he hosts.
"Wonderfully improvised riffs showcasing his impressive spontaneity and sharp tongue." Edinburgh Festivals Magazine
“The perfect comedy club host – he is a master of audience interaction. The audience weren’t just warmed up, but pretty hysterical even before the first act of the night hit the stage.” Huffington Post
