What they say:

Inspired by recent travels to the Far Eats, the founders of the Smoking Goat open a new Soho-based eatery, called Kiln. Although not actually cooking in a Kiln, the team of chef will use fine clay pots and hand-hammered woks to produce a range of exquisite dishes, created using only the freshest and finest ingredients available. Adding to the experience, the simplistic decorations of the venue are complemented by the impressive, ever-evolving wine list, composed of sparkling Riesling, Californian Pinot Noir and a selection of intriguing orange wines.

What we say:

We're truly fascinated by what Kiln has to offer. The culinary mastermind have taken a number of things from their foodie travels and subsequently applied them to this menu of delicately crafted dishes. Unlike many London restaurants, this venue leads with its ingredients. They've paired up with a number of Cornwall farms in order to have a larder of only the finest meats, seasonings and vegetables. Only time will tell as to whether the Szechuan grown in England tastes as good as its Asian cousin, but either way, Kiln is certain to plate up refreshingly simple, flavoursome food.
