Carbo-loaders had better look alive because one of London's most iconic pasta places is gearing up to launch its second venue in Shoreditch. Borough favourites Padella are in the process of seeking out a location for their much anticipated follow-up and it seems that they may have set their sights on Shoreditch. 

Unfazed by local competition from the likes of Pasta Nostra and Burro e Salvia, the new venture will follow much the same ethos as its sister site with a small but well-thought out menu of traditional, seasonal dishes. Alongside their primary pasta offering, Padella bring a few antipasti and desserts to dabble in, and of course, some delicious aperitivi to knock back. The venue will be walk-in only, so prepare for queues, but also be aware that these dishes are well worth the wait.
