What they say:

Located inside the courtyard of creative space Fount London, comes plant-based eatery The Field. Founded by chefs Nik Williamson and Ryan Petty, this London Fields venture centres on plants and vegetable dishes, pimped up with meat or fish. As the brains behind Victoria's Porridge Cafe, Williamson has joined forces with Petty to create a menu that focuses on health, sustainability and minimal waste - changing weekly to reflect the local produce available. Whether you go for the veggies or the meat, you can expect a homely and relaxed atmosphere.

What we say:

Do you often think about reducing your intake of meat? The Field gives you the option to personalise your veggie-centric meal by adding meat or fish to certain courses. We love the sound of roasted cauliflower cooked in caramelised yeast and cauliflower puree, served with kale, romanesco, roasted vegetables and cumin jus. For lunch, think bowl food such as papardelle putanesca and red wild rice, while bottomless brunch steals the show come the weekend. Vegan prosecco and wine has been sustainably sourced, while coffee comes from specialist Italian roasters Terrone & Co who are located only a few minutes away.
