What they say:

The brainchild of a group of Athenian friends, Suvlaki has been keeping Soho happy with their Greek small plates and sharing dishes for several years. Now, the restaurant has opened another outlet, this time in East London's Brick Lane. The second venue is headed up by Alfred Prasad, the youngest ever Indian chef to get a Michelin Star. Expect the restaurant's signature dish, suvlaki cooked over hot coals, along with new specials such as wild boar sausages with smoked aubergine.

What we say:

Meaning 'stick' or 'small skewer', Suvlaki has headed to Brick Lane with their brand of casual eating and sociable atmosphere restaurants, a perfect fit for East London. The Greek restaurant has a few new surprises for its latest opening, with Mezze plates such as eel smoked with olive and citrus wood, and traditional Greek, sage-smoked ham siglino. Washing it all down, there is a curated selection of Greek wines and craft beers.
