By candlelight (the flattering, fireside kind), we’re pouring a Burns Night Whisky Edit that’s all slow-sipping, velvet-warmed indulgence and quietly show-stopping flavour. Settle in for an evening of three beautifully judged whiskies (each one richer, rounder and more linger-worthy than the last), thoughtfully paired with proper British nibbles - the golden-crisp, butter-forward, just-salty-enough kind, all designed to make every dram sing (and occasionally steal the spotlight).
Expect oak-smoothed aromas, honeyed depth and smoke-kissed finishes, enjoyed at an unhurried pace (phones down, glasses up), with candle flicker, low hum conversation and that unmistakable Burns Night glow (poetic, plush, and a little bit decadent).
