What they say:

The Lady Ottoline is the latest addition to the Bloomsbury eating and drinking scene. We bought The Kings Arms in the spring of this year and after a much needed refurbishment the doors to €˜The Lady€™ opened in late september.  It€™s a beautiful building in a beautiful street and hopefully we can do the old girl justice.  The ground floor will have an open fire and stunning bar and be welcome to both diners and drinkers while the first floor will have two dining rooms of which one will be available for private dining. We will be serving four ales and two lagers on tap, have a wine list of over one hundred with a good selection by the glass and carafe and, of course, have an ever changing menu of good food using fresh, local ingredients served by knowledgable and friendly staff.

What we say:

The creators of The Lady Ottoline come with some serious pedigree. They are the brains behind the award-winning London gastro pub The Princess of Shoreditch, that has been serving up tasty drinks and comforting meals for 3 years. The Lady Ottoline, despite being a little of the beaten track, looks set to bring a fresh slice of gastro to this part of London and Bloomsbury will be all the better for it. We cannot wait to check out the open fire, a selection off the extensive Lady wine list and taste the impressive food menu. A London gastro pub seems almost old-hat these days but this London pub looks set to show the rest of London how a gastro pub should be done.
