Turtle, a grease-filled and VERY stereotypical American, is struggling with his belief in God after his baby sister's cancer diagnosis. Turtle uses sex, alcohol, "gutter" language, humour, and a cynical judgement of others to mask the pain he truly feels inside. But he is hiding something.
