FAQ's:

Do guests have to “play a part” in the mystery? How much you get involved is up to you. You’re invited to interact with the characters over
dinner and throughout the evening, but there is no compulsory “audience participation” in the
traditional sense. Some guests like to leap in feet first; others prefer to sit back and observe.
Either approach is great, as is everything in between.

Is it like watching a play?
Partly, but it’s also interactive. At the start of the evening you’ll be given a programme
containing clues and information. The actors will play out a series of dramatic scenes to
advance the plot, as well as sitting with you, and allowing you quiz them throughout the
evening. Then there’ll be a murder, and it’ll be up to you to work who did it, why they did it,
and what they did it with.

How long will the event last?
About two to two-and-a-half hours.

Do we have to work out “whodunnit”?
That’s the idea! And there’s a bottle of champagne for the best detective.

Do we have to dress up?
It’s always fun when guests dress up, especially for this event, but it’s not compulsory.

Do we have to work as teams to solve the murder?
You can work as pairs, teams or individuals – it’s completely up to you, and you don’t have to
decide in advance. It may simply depend on whether you want to share the champagne or not!

Can I bring a large group? / Is it okay if there’s just two of us?
Absolutely fine in both cases. We often have large groups attending public events, as well as
plenty of couples, groups of four, etc.
