Opening Act:  Sarah Mills

Sarah is a disabled writer, actor, comedian and producer. Winner of the BAFTA Rocliffe award for TV Comedy and a Semi-Finalist in the Funny Women Stand Up Awards. Sarah's debut show BADASS was performed at the Edinburgh Fringe 2022; a TV is currently under option with a leading UK production company.

On TV, Sarah has appeared on 'The Last Leg', 'Stand Up To Cancer', and 'Rosie Jones' Disability Extravaganza'.

Sarah has written for 'Have I Got News For You' BBC2, 'Horrible Histories' CBBC, 'The Stand Up Sketch Show' ITV2, 'Tom Gates' Sky Kids, 'Dodo' Sky Kids, and Channel 4's 'Nasty Neighbours', and is currently in a writers room for a top secret project for Channel 4. Sarah appears in the sitcom 'Slaving Away' as the prudish neighbour of a dominatrix sex worker and can be heard on 'Russell Kane's Evil Genius'.

In 2018, Sarah was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer, but as a keen content creator, immediately turned her time in treatment into the world's first ever chat show filmed on a chemo ward. 'The Chemo Chat Show' featured guests including Phil Wang, Rob Rinder MBE, Harriet Kemsley and Dara O Briain. She is now in remission.

As an advocate, Sarah has spoken in Parliament, addressing the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions directly, about how the Universal Credit system was letting down cancer patients. She has had an open letter to Boris Johnson published by Macmillan Cancer Support about staff shortages in the NHS. And on Instagram, Sarah is busy raising awareness for invisible disabilities with her #StomaHeroes series where she recreates iconic pictures with her stoma bag in shot.

Headliner: Carey Marx

Writer and star of BBC Radio 4's 'Intensive Carey', twice winner of Best International Show at the New Zealand Comedy Festival, and Leicester Comedy Festival Best Show nominee.

Carey is currently performing his new show, 'Carey Marx: The Dead Don't Heckle'. An hilarious, jaw-dropping confession about a sé ance he ran, and faked, with dreadful consequences, and how this led him to become an evangelical sceptic and debunker of nonsense.

His previous fifteen solo shows have been described as, 'Quite brutal, in a darkly comic Quentin Tarantino kind of way' Chortle, 'Comedy of the most cerebral variety' Herald, 'Essential Viewing' Fest, 'Supremely-crafted comedy' List, 'Awkward misfit Marx has a genius for the unexpected and hilarious left turns' Guardian, 'Such a devilish grin, that you can only admire for being such a magnificent bastard' The Scotsman.

In 2012, Carey had a heart attack and wrote a highly acclaimed show, 'Intensive Carey', about his battle back to health. He quickly became Britain's top heart attack comedian.

A circuit veteran, Marx concocts his own blend of dark humour with mischief and glee. His wilful disregard for the controversial and taboo is tempered with his ability to find job in the most unexpected places. An International multi-award winner, Carey is no stranger to screen or radio with credits ranging from Channel 4's 'Gas', to BBC One's 'The Stand Up Show' as well as his own radio show on Channel 4. Marx has written for the likes of 'Newzoids' ITV, 'The Now Show' Radio4, and 'Nick Doody's Bigipedia BBC Radio4.
