Enable Ability’s Over 25 Social Group marks a fresh chapter for adults across Portsmouth looking to connect, build confidence and feel part of something welcoming and inclusive.
Each session runs for two hours, with a dedicated host present throughout to provide a familiar face and consistent point of support. Attendees can choose to join the main group activities or, where available, make use of quieter spaces within the venue to suit their comfort levels.
Guests are also encouraged to remain after the host has left, helping to ‘flex’ their independence and confidence within a mainstream social setting.
The sessions are hosted by James Donougher, Enable Ability’s Project Leader for the Over 25 Group. Inspired by the “Empty Chairs” concept, James will be dressed in orange to ensure he can be easily identified by anyone attending for the first time or looking for support on arrival.
The group aims to create relaxed, inclusive opportunities for adults aged 25 and over to socialise, form friendships and enjoy shared experiences in a supportive environment.

6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
