The OPH COMEDY CLUB returns! But from now on, it's the last THURSDAY of the month!
If you have ever been to our Quiz Nights here on Wednesdays, you will be familiar with our Comedic host Matt Blair.
Matt will be taking us to hysterical heights, as he hosts our Chiswick Comedy Club!
Joining us for our eigth run on Thursday 25th May 2023 from 8pm will be...
Opening Act: Laura monmoth
Not Monmouth! Laura is the 2018 recipient of Birmingham Comedy Festival' & The Glee Club's Breaking Talent Aware 2018. Wowing audiences with slide projections, animations for a tight set that saw her suggest comical names and attempt to ''improve reality'', while pondering the purchase of a Princess Leia Star Wars costume.
Birmingham born, Laura has previously performed at festivals such as Edinburgh Fringe, Leicester, and LGBTQX, having won best show at the Morecombe Comedy Festival.
Believing her comedy to be non-mainstream - "Everything I do is really niche".
Headliner: joe jacobs
Joe Jacobs is a London based comedian, rapper and writer. He has performed nationally and internationally, sharing bills with acts including Bill Burr, Stewart Lee and Mr. Motivator.
His live shows effortlessly flit between hip hop and comedy and he's been seen/heard on Channel 4, BBC Radio 4, BBC6 Music, Radio 1XTRA, and also gained millions of viral video views online.
As a solo artist Jester Jacobs, he's released regular music since his debut Mental Disorder in 2008.
In 2017, Joe took Ripe to the Edinburgh Fringe where it received critical acclaim. In 2019, he returned with Grimefulness.
